Who created YIWA originally?

The idea started with Linda Lid and Philippe Langlois in 2006, thinking about creating something to help the young woodfirer to get started.

How do you define "young"? What is the age limit?

Define? Define??? Well... we believe that some people stay young regardless of their age, and some others are young in age but already bored, not trying, not open... Well,... you know how it goes. So if you consider yourself young, just join. We'll see how it goes from there :)

Why create YIWA?

To share, to give, to meet, to love, to express, to be free, to travel, to have a place everywhere to join other creative forces. Plenty of reasons already, and yet so many more!

Woodfirer?

I agree this is a certain focus, but hey, let's be focused, we're also open to people willing to know about woodfiring, no problem, and to people completely external who think their creativity can express itself in a group like this.
