  • Cliffe clay is similar to a low-firing red earthenware clay which is found in a seam running though the Cliffe Marches on the south bank of the Thames. Try any local red clay. To Calcine the clay, dry it to a powder and sieve through a 60s mesh and include it in a biscuit firing (900°C).

Bleu, Base transparente, mais un peu laiteuse si épaisse.

  • 60 feldspath potassique
  • 20 quartz
  • 20 craie
  • ajoutes 2 - 4 % de rutile (moi c'est 3...ces jours!!!) et
  • aussi 2 % de Cobalt...pour le bleu...
